a tree to grow is one of my favorite pieces and currently resides in my dining room. I painted this piece in college and discovered my style in the process. Trees are naturally symbolic; they represent the stages of life. Trees are always growing, always evolving, always letting go and moving on. This painting has been a reminder of the process of growth, and how beautiful it can be.
